Quiet time

I took these pictures after a full day of playing, rearranging bedrooms & a soccer game! Trey still has baseball practice tonight so hopefully he'll be ready to run the bases.

His soccer team won!. It rained the first few minutes & then it was perfect playing weather. Trey even scored a goal. Gabe kicked the ball to him and Trey ran it toward the goal & then kicked it right into the goal. He was so excited & so were we!!

7 Months

Reagan is now 7 months old & she is trying to crawl. Last weekend she got one all fours & started rocking. When I saw it I honestly wanted to go over there & stop her. I can't believe how fast it is going by.

Next month Trey will be 5!!!! That is something that is hard to believe. He had his first t-ball practice last night. It was so funny. Half the time they were running around with the glove over their faces pretending to be monsters.

Robert D. & I had a day out just the two of us the other day. We went to a movie & got Trey's birthday decor. It was so nice just the two of us. Of course I had to go shopping & found these shirts at the Carter store. We told Trey what it says & he fell in love with it. He wore it the next day to daycare & had to tell everyone what it said.

Trip to the Really Big Ship

Early morning wake up call

I don't have any pictures to go along with my story but I have to write about what happened this morning. To begin with we have a video baby monitor for Reagan in her room so I can always see her when she is in there asleep.
Well this morning Robert D & I were lying in bed when Trey & Randi came & tackled us. After a few minutes of playing they realized that Reagan was in her room fast alseep. Well of course they could not have that. Trey said," Lets go wake up Reagan." Randi says," okay!" So off they run & we enjoyed the show from our bed. I so wish we could of got it on video. So priceless!! Anyway, so picture this: Reagan all curled up with her blankie, fast asleep, you can even hear her snoring very softly.
Then you hear the click of the door opening & Trey turns the light on. Randi starts hollering & Reagan's head pops up & back down about 3 times trying figure out what has just happened. Trey & Randi are laughing very loud. Randi then decides that Reagan needs company in the crib so climbs up & starts hugging & kissing her. Well you can only imagine what Reagan thinks about the whole thing. She begins to cry & Trey, being the big brother, realizes their mistake & says, "oh lets put her back to sleep!" He runs, turns the light off , jumps up in the crib & starts rubbing her back saying, "shh." That doesn't work so he begins to wind up her mobile while Randi "beats on Reagan's back". Trey then has to instruct Randi to be "easy". Well none of that works & Reagan begins to cry louder & louder so Trey calls for the calvary, "DADDY"!!!
So after Reagan is out of her siblings reach they attempt to get down from the crib. Trey has no problem. Remember we are still watching all of this on the baby monitor. Randi looks around & makes a couple of attempts to get down but decides not to. Trey being the big brother says ," here Randi let me help you." She considers it but quickly decides she likes her head to much. So she stands up & starts hollering, "DADDY,DADDY!"

Soccer Time!

Today was the start of another soccer season. Unfortuntely only 1 person showed up on the other team. But the kids still got to play. Trey had fun running & kicking the ball.

I got the kids together for yet another photo session! I bought these shirts around the time Reagan was born & she can now fit into hers so I thought today is a good time as any to get a couple of pictures before they out grow them. Of course Randi was the ham of the pictures! Trey got mad & pouted! (we've seen this face too many times lately!) And Reagan was just sitting there pacifying me.

I took these pictures this morning before church. When I got home I started putting them into a slideshow. Looking at Randi & Reagan sitting there hugging & kissing made me think back to my sister that I lost nine and a half years ago. I still miss her more than words can say. I just pray that Randi & Reagan will form their own sister relationship that is so special & only a few are able to truly experience.

One Year Later

Can anyone look at this crazy child & think that a year ago tonight she was on her first helicopter ride?

Lazy Saturday

I love Saturdays like today when you have no plans & let the kids plan what they want to do. Trey & Randi wanted to go play & since it was beautiful out we bundled Reagan up even though it wasn't cold. Trey had fun playing with his "new inventions" as he likes to call the sticks. Randi did whatever Trey was doing. Reagan just enjoyed being outside.

NO CAVITIES!!!

Trey went to the dentist on Friday & was such a big boy. He sat there & let them clean & check his teeth. His favorite part was the spitsucker. The assistant would tell him to put his lips around it like a straw. He laughed everytime. So he left with 2 froggies ( he broke the first frog legs while we were waiting on the dentist to come), mater toothbrush, toothpaste & floss!!

Randi was feeling left out when I took Trey's picture so I took a picture of her pretty teeth! I would take a picture of Reagan's gums but she is sleeping!!
