EB Awareness Week

It's EB Awareness week from October 25- October 31st!
Sadly, there is still NO cure for this awful disease.
http://www.debra.org/

Wear something red this week to help promote awareness for the horrible disease.
I know I will.
It may have been 11 years since God took Cyndi from the pain but I still remember VERY clearly what is was like.

Cyndi is the toughest person I have ever known. I remember how much she wished for a cure. She didn't like to hear about anyone else having to go through what she went through.
She told me one time, " please do not let your kids go through this."

Back to Soccer

Soccer has started back & it is HOT! Trey's game was at noon & with only four players his team had to play the whole game with just a few minute breaks. We were all proud of how they played.

Grandpa

Song Of Moses

It is the song of Moses that my heart sings with joy each day.
I ask to be more like him each time I pause to pray.

It was old Humble Moses who stood on Holy land,
Witness to the hand of God up on the seed of Abraham.

A prophet of his holiness, safe in his Master's grace,
Reciever of the Covenant, God knew him face to face.

I would like to stand like Moses before my fellow man
And lead each and everyone to the promise land.

When their souls are held in bondage and their heads are bowed
in woe, to plead unto their captor, oh, let my people go.

Yes, let me live like Moses to await my Lords, command,
And when God calls my name,

I'll say Yes, Lord, here I am.
It was ole humble Moses, who climbed the mountain so high,

Looking from mountain that reached into the sky.
Then let me die like Moses when it's time for me to go,

Looking from the mountain upon the land below,
That flows with milk and honey, for God has made it so.

My grandpa was a great man. It was 10 years ago on September 15 th that Grandpa went to heaven just like he asked in the song. He died at his home & in his sleep. I know that when he awoke in heaven Cyndi was there waiting for him. It makes me sad to think that my kids never had the chance to meet him but they have their pappy who is just like him.
I love you & still miss you, grandpa!

Karate

Trey's newest adventure is karate! He has been talking about it all summer so we decided to give gymnastics a rest for the year & let him see how he likes karate. So far he loves it. We did have to set two rules with this. 1- no karate moves at school & 2- no karate moves on his sisters!!

I'm 2 years old!

Hey everyone!!
I had a great time yesterday at my princess party. Randi & I arrived to Nanny & Pappy's house dressed like Princesses but we quickly changed because we were excited to go swimming ! I had lots of fun jumping into the water with Trey & Randi and my cousins, Carter, Clayton, William & Trevor! I didn't really care for everyone singing happy birthday to me though. My mom was right there so I jumped into her arms & let everyone else blow out my candles.
All the boys jumped back into the water so Randi & I opened up my presents. Thank God for sisters! I really enjoyed all of my presents. Randi really loves the Dora mermaid that I got.
Thank you!

Love,
Reagan

Another year

Today marked 11 years without you. How can it really be that long?

I still remember your big brown eyes that you used so well to always get your way. Your niece, Randi, inherited that from you. I remember how much you loved to eat and the many drives when you wanted your milkshake from Ed's & fries from Sonic. But what would that be without a drive down Beach Blvd!

I remember how you LOVED walking along the gulf. It was so peaceful & relaxing hearing the waves hitting. Our favorite house was always "Graceland".

I remember your laugh out loud laughs, your soft voice, how you always walked on your tiptoes, and that beautiful shy smile!

You achieved so much in your 20 years of life. I know that I am a better person because I had you for a sister. You touched so many people. Remember when we would go to the fair & before we could even get all the way through you were covered in stuffed animals from the workers seeing you & they just felt like they needed to do something for you.
God is an awesome God & I know that He sent you to this earth to our family with this horrible disease for a purpose. I also know that I WILL see you again & that what helps with the pain of not having you here.
So until then I will always remember!
