Happy 35 years!!!

We went this weekend to the beach & had so much fun. Trey asked if we could stay forever but then quickly reconsidered b/c Santa wouldn't be able to find us so he decided a few days was long enough. There was a lazy river at our condo which was SO nice. Trey had a blast. Randi enjoyed playing in the sand & Reagan just went with the flow. The first night we swam on the lazy river before supper then we went to the beach after supper to play in the sand. Sunday morning we were back on the beach. The kids had a lot of fun playing the sand but wasn't so sure about the water. Especially the taste of the water!! They were not expecting the saltiness!! Priceless faces!! There was a splash pad at another hotel that we could use & Trey had a blast but Randi didn't care for all the water. Her & Reagan enjoyed the foam whale that squirted water every once in a while. Much more their pace. After lunch & a nap we went to an early supper at Fudpucker's. They loved the alligators. We all got to pet one. Randi LOVED them!! She loves to tell the story about how the worker who was holding the alligator actually dropped it & the alligator actually tried to make a run for it but another worker put his foot on him. Thankfully, the alligator's mouth was taped shut! On the way back we stopped at Alvin's Island to get Trey a ring so he could float on the river & Reagan a baby float. Well guess what Randi found lying on the ground in the back of the store, an alligator. Well, needless to say she walked out the door with it.(actually not the same one, he had a foot missing so daddy bought another one & we switched it out) Once back at the river the kids had fun. Randi & Reagan gave it up about 8:30 but Trey lasted until it closed at 10pm. Nanny & Pappy had to leave the next morning so Pappy could go to work that evening but we stayed till noon & let them swim. I can't tell you how many times we went around that river. Trey found a buddy in the kiddie pool, Jack. He's 3 from West Virginia & they played for a good 2 hours.

Happy 35th Anniversary Nanny & Pappy!!
We Love You!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
