Birthday Wishes

Hey Cyndi,
I can't believe that you would of been 31. It doesn't seem possible because the more birthdays that come around just remind me that you aren't here. How I wish that you could be here to celebrate your day but I know you wouldn't want to be anywhere else than where you are.
A few days ago momma was telling Trey that your birthday was coming up and he got so excited but quickly remembered. He told her, " she's in heaven, nanny." So momma told Trey that we could let some balloons go at Cyndi's Peace and you could get them in heaven. But being the ever so loving nephew that he is, he has decided that he is going to write you a letter & even buy you a game to put in the balloon so you will get a birthday card & present in heaven. He loves his Aunt Cyndi so much & I try to tell him & the girls all about you but it is so hard. I thought that after almost 11years without you, it would easier but it is NOT! I still miss you more than words can say. Happy Birthday Cyndi !
I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!!

love,
Baby

June 19th, 1979 ~ A day that changed lot's of lives. We knew from the get go that it was going to be tough, but we also knew we could handle it, somehow! The hardest part was leaving you behind in Pascagoula while we were learning how to take care of Cyndi at Ochners in New Orleans. Thank God for your uncle Danny and aunt Denise, for they took you in while we were in New Orleans those 3 weeks.
We learned to trust in our Lord, because he would direct our paths to take.
After the 1st year...we had it figured out. Cyndi is a near-perfect little girl. She just had a skin problem also. We just had to adapt to her needs first.
Cyndi had you for her sister, and you took care of entertaining her, playing with her, and helping mom with her special needs.
Cyndi needed you all of her life to be there for her, and we believe that is why you were born first. We could have never taken care of Cyndi, without you Sherri.
As your babies grow...they will learn little things about Cyndi, and yes it will be hard to tell them somethings, but remember to always trust in the Lord, and he will give you the right words to tell them.

We Love You Baby,
Mom & Dad
